About JP's Catering

The Teapot Café was re-opened by our parents Brenda & Robert in 1990, they successfully ran a previous café in Bilston, namely Bobs café, this was sold due to having to work seven days a week. The Teapot Café had been closed for many years, our parents built it into a well established family business serving to the local factories and had a regular loyal customer base with many friends.

JP's Teapot Cafe

In January 2002 we (Jeni & Paula) took the business over, there have been many changes in the area with a lot of the local factories being closed down, however we have established our own customer base of factory offices and regular customers.

Buffets

We are always looking to expand our business with new ideas, a couple of years ago we set up the outside catering business JP’s Catering. This has proven to be a success with positive feedback from our many customers. We would like to expand this side of the business to provide buffets to our local businesses for meetings, training days etc. as well as to our community for their functions.

Walsall Magistrates Court

In July 2003 we were awarded a contract to provide a catering service to Walsall Magistrates courts, where we ran a successful kitchen within the courts premises, providing refreshments, sandwiches and other snacks to the public, solicitors, court staff and magistrates. We also provided buffets for court meetings and staff training. Due to taking on our second cafe (see below) we terminated our contract with the courts in July 2011.

January 2011 saw us expand our business after we took over the corner cafe in Selborne street, Walsall, servicing local businesses and the community.
